Educational system

Domus Mariae School offers Kenya’s 8-4-4 Education system. The school guides the students to attain both theory and practical skills. When they will reach Form 4 they will take KCSE certification.

The management is committed to giving the students an opportunity to excel in science subjects. They are therefore encouraged to take all the pure sciences – Biology, Chemistry and physics.

The compulsory subjects are Mathematics, English Kiswahili, Chemistry and CRE. Other optional subjects within the 8-4-4 System syllabi that Domus Mariae offers and the students can choose from include Biology, Physics, History, Geography, Computer studies, Business studies and French. However, Form one and two students take all the offered subjects and only specialize in at least seven subjects when promoted to Form three.
